Cornflower frosty mix have long wiry stems of flowers whose every petal is edged with white. It makes for a fresh and cool look in the summer. Cornflowers are the most splendid of annuals and apart from their common electric blue shade, they bloom in shades of blue, pink, maroon and white edged pink. If grown in dense patches, cornflower is a great sight to watch. They are easy to grow and flower all summer. They require a sunny, open spot and averagely rich soil. Just like sweet peas, cornflowers need to be cut constantly if you want them to flower all summer. They are excellent both as a wildflower field or cut flowers.
